Analyst – Business Oversight and Reporting

As an Analyst on the Business Oversight and Reporting team, you’ll help keep the Private Bank running smoothly through clear insight, coordination, and strong stakeholder engagement. In this role, you’ll primarily support the Head of Private Banking Office Ireland and the wider Leadership Team, acting as a key liaison between the Front Office and a range of reporting and support functions.

While you will contribute to business oversight, reporting, and tracking sales activity, there is a strong emphasis on stakeholder management, communication, organisational effectiveness, and project coordination. You’ll work closely with Heads of Coverage and key partners to bring together sales updates, financial data, and client information, ensuring outputs are accurate, clear, and aligned to business priorities.

You’ll act as a central link with Finance and other support teams, helping to create visibility across performance KPIs and strategic priorities. More broadly, you’ll coordinate across a wide range of stakeholders including Controls, Technology, and Operations, contributing to governance, business initiatives, and internal communications. A key part of the role involves supporting senior leaders, preparing materials for executive audiences, coordinating updates for regular forums, and ensuring alignment across Front Office, Finance, Risk, and Operations.

This position offers an opportunity to operate in a Business Management / Chief of Staff–type capacity, providing exposure to senior leadership and a broad view of how a global financial institution operates, particularly within the Irish and wider European context.

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively across seniority levels
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience preparing executive-level reporting and presentations
• Experience in governance, business management, or strategic planning activities
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise across multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
• Project management and coordination experience, with a focus on driving outcomes and alignment
• Solid data literacy, with the ability to interpret and present data clearly (advanced Excel is beneficial but not the primary focus)
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Experience working within the Irish or broader European financial services environment (e.g., Ireland, Spain, France, Italy, UK, Germany)

Other helpful experience includes:
• Financial services or management consulting experience, particularly within COO, strategy, business management, or Chief of Staff-type functions
• Exposure to governance frameworks, organisational structures, and regional stakeholder management
• Experience in executive reporting, sales management, or business analysis
• Confidence working across both business and technical teams to deliver consistent, high-quality outputs
• Strong presentation skills, with the ability to structure and prioritise information effectively
• European language skills (Spanish, Portuguese, French, or Italian) are advantageous

This role is based in Dublin

Entry Salary: €47,000.00
Upper Salary: €56,500.00

The entry and upper salary information above includes only annual full-time equivalent base salary and represents the typical range of pay for the role. The actual pay rate will reflect the responsibility level of the role and experience level of the individual. The entry and upper salary information does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role

To assist relationship managers to effectively manage their client portfolios and optimise the client experience. 

Accountabilities

  • Maintenance of client information, management of contracts and agreements, and preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials.
  • Coordination of schedules for relationship managers and clients, ensuring efficient time management and smooth communication.
  • Processing of transactions, management of expense reports, and routine requests to free up the relationship manager's time for strategic activities.
  • Information gathering on relevant market trends, competitor offerings, and industry news to support the relationship manager in providing informed advice and tailored solutions.
  • Analysis of client data, preparation of reports on portfolio performance, and provision of insights to inform portfolio adjustments and client recommendations.
  • Management of inbound and outbound communication through phone, email, and other channels, relaying important information and response to client inquiries.
  • Provision of support to relationship managers with planning, tracking and the execution of complex client projects by managing timelines and resources, identifying potential issues, summarising client portfolios and proactively communicating updates and opportunities to the relationship manager.
  • Support to clients with everyday product and services tasks such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, bill payments, mobile app support as well as updating personal information, contact details and account preferences.
  • Guidance to new customers through account opening procedures, explanation of account terms and conditions, and setting up of online access and other services.
  • Management and maintenance of client relations by resolving various customer concerns and inquiries, including account balances, statements, transactions, fees.
  • Maintenance of confidentiality and security of client data by following strict data security protocols and ethical practices.
