Overall purpose of role

·This role will perform as Application Manager for Change the Bank; will be required to work according to the Lean Control Tool and development cycle for L3 support, it will be responsible to perform adequate deliveries according to Agile methodology.

·Will be in charge of implementations on the UAT environment of local vendor application systems on the Mexico environment.

·Manage implementation of Mexico applications, since functional requirements, testing until deliver to production

·Software Development of new requirements, enhancements of Mexico applications

·The role will allow compliance with regulatory requirements related to technology implementations over the local systems.

·Working with stakeholders to resolve issues in Production environment

·Vendor Management

Key Accountabilities

·Responsible of the technical architecture related to local Mexico Applications, Reg Reporting and Compliance applications

·Responsible of the relationship with local vendor within System Life Cycle

·Provide reports of progress to CTB head

·Adhere to IT Controls and procedures.

·Interact with other local and global IT and business teams.

·Preparation of Resilience tests

·Prepare UAT environments and perform adequate testing prior releases into production

·Maintain adequate documentation in relationship to support and knowledge base

·Coordinate market wide tests with Banco de Mexico

·Backup activities of other CTB members

·Deploy and utilize automation tools

·Provide L3 support to Production Incidents

Stakeholder Management and Leadership

·Report progress on assigned projects

·Prepare and analyse metrics according to requirement category and urgency

·Coordinate incident resolution and provide appropriate update to stakeholder and management

·Coordinate projects and business requirements and provide appropriate update to stakeholder and management

·Represent BTB on other BTB forums and with Mexico management

·Work with RTB lead to adequate support standards

Decision-making and Problem Solving

·Participate actively in the prioritization of ongoing issues

·Work with other CTB members globally on assessing solutions

·Role requires good problem solving skills to establish the root cause of production issues and provide the effective solution in timely manner.

·Work with RTB teams to eliminate manual workarounds

Risk and Control Objective

Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards
