Overall purpose of role

Make markets and provide liquidity in Mexican fixed income products.

Key Accountabilities

The candidate will be helping managing and quoting the Mexican Portfolio. In this role the candidate is expected to:

·Demonstrate risk management skills for the product line and ensure the appropriate risk taking limits are observed

·Develop the appropriate pricing models required for bespoke local products pricing and a thorough understanding of pricing

·Expected to have a yearly toplilne contribution of USD 3MM GBP

·Engage with global sales teams and clients to further growth the product footprint and market share across geographies and client types by providing periodic market color, trading desk commentary and bespoke information as appropriate and according to established policies

·Engage with control functions (Product Control, Middle Office, Market, etc) to ensure full control and visibitlity of the portfolio´s Daily Profit and Loss Reporting, Market Risk, Capital and Liquidity Limits.

·Be the lead in product and systems innovation to further enhance the infrastructure and technology

·Provide coaching and guidance to the junior members of the team

·Act according to the highest ethical standards and in strict adherence to all applicable regulatory frameworks

Person Specification

Knowledge of Derivatives products.

Knowledge of Local Mexican Market Regulation.

Previous experience in Mexican Market and Investment Bank.
