Sourcing Manager Vice President 
Whippany, NJ

As a Barclays Sourcing Manager Vice President (VP), you will be the category lead for a number of sub-categories of spend within Marketing. You will develop strategic sourcing strategies for the marketing portfolio and support the delivery of the end to end global marketing procurement strategy. You will have the opportunity to interact with senior stakeholders in Procurement as well as within Marketing.

What will you be doing?

•    Managing a global portfolio of marketing spend of by creating comprehensive global sourcing strategies, operating with a truly global and strategic mindset
•    Building strategic relationships with a network of senior Barclays global marketing stakeholders in order to understand business requirements
•    Identifying opportunities to create value and to position Procurement’s value proposition and align marketing sourcing strategies accordingly
•    Being responsible for creating compelling business cases for change and obtain Procurement and stakeholder approval to execute from Barclays budget/business owners 
•    Delivering global benefits identified in strategies through effective strategy execution, aligned to risk management, compliance, quality, service, cost and innovation
•    Engaging senior stakeholders and other relevant functions in the marketing sourcing strategy delivery and execution
•    Building strategic relationships with key marketing suppliers at a senior level and lead processes to ensure value is driven from these relationships 
•    Supporting the wider marketing category teams within scope of responsibility

What we’re looking for:

•    Significant indirect category management experience, ideally demonstrating ownership of multiple marketing categories of spend greater than £100m per sub-category
•    Highly developed business acumen with demonstrated success in delivering a multi-year strategy ensuring competitive commercial advantage
•    Demonstrated ability to forge close business relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all management levels
•    Skilled procurement negotiator adept at leading complex negotiations with both external and internal stakeholders

Skills that will help you in the role:

•    Category procurement experience across multiple indirect categories
•    Academic degree or equivalent course or experience in Business or related field
•    Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills
