Fraud Intelligence Analyst

As a Barclays Fraud Intelligence Analyst, you will have the opportunity to triage and analyse intelligence received by the bank in relation to cybercrime threats targeting Barclays customers. You will be an integral part of the Intelligence process, supporting with the dissemination of intelligence to appropriate teams across the Cyber Fraud Fusion Centre. Salary / Rate Minimum: $55,000
Salary / Rate Maximum: $85,000

What will you be doing?

•    Being responsible for triaging, evaluating and disseminating  actionable intelligence to teams in the Cyber Fraud Fusion Center
•    Conducting deep-dive analysis on both successful and near-miss fraud cases to identify and explore opportunities for fraud prevention
•    Collaborating with Fraud & Financial Crime teams in the analysis of fraud and economic crime trends to identify controls changes that may prevent and detect further attacks on customers
•    Conducting and communicating analysis of cyber threat campaigns, threat actors and threat evolution, and exploring how those factors impact  current and future threats to Barclays
•    Contributing to the growth of the organisation’s technical capability and understanding of cyber-enabled fraud through developing your skills through research 
•    Researching and learning about other tools and analytic methods in the broader cyber and economic crime landscape 

What we’re looking for:

•    Minimum of two years of experience working in either cyber-fraud intelligence collection & analysis or cyber-enabled fraud investigations
•    Knowledge and understanding of malicious tools used by cyber adversaries to target the financial sector including but not limited to eBanking Trojans, POS/ATM malware and mobile malware
•    Experience with fraud detection and prevention systems

Skills that will help you in the role:

•    Knowledge and understanding of latest social engineering tactics used by cybercriminals
•    Knowledge of Microsoft Powerpoint, Confluence, JIRA and Teams
•    Prior experience of working in a Fraud/Cybercrime function 
•    ICA Certificate/Diploma in Financial Crime Prevention, CAMS Certification, CFE Certification or other equivalent certification(s)
