Join us as a VP - Facility Management & Colleague Services Lead. At Barclays, we don’t just embrace change – we drive it. The role holder will support in Facilities Management for Corporate Real Estate Services across the Delhi NCR region’s portfolio ensuring delivery of all FM service lines via an outsourced delivery partner. The role holder will oversee management of the Facility Management budget for the region involving a complex annual P&L across a few Barclays business units. The role holder would also lead all aspects of the Company’s Staff transportation activities, across India, through an outsourced delivery partner. This role is critical to the success of Barclays CRES delivering excellence to our business stakeholders and must recognize and manage a ‘one size’ does not fit all’ approach, as such, the role holder needs to have strong customer relationship skills.  The role holder will be responsible for coordinating and interfacing Facilities Management services with other Barclays teams such as, but not limited to; property, engineering and capital projects, security, finance, BCM and workforce planning.

To be successful as a Facility Management & Colleague Services Lead, you should have experience with

  • Support the lead in managing the Facility Management and Colleague Services budget, operational performance, and service delivery of the region. Responsible for overseeing/framing the Transport policies, standards & contracts, evaluating the operating model from time to time as per the stakeholder requirements while aligning with the policies.
  • Oversee the Transport Operational and Cost efficiency across India. Risk Management including complying with Governance and ensuring adherence to Property Policy and Standards. Support in translating global strategy to meet regional/local needs and ensure it is fit for purpose including liaison with suppliers to align strategies.
  • Accountable for local Facility Management strategy and implications from budget, operational performance, and service delivery perspectives. Oversee local Business intelligence and MI to meet global requirements and to measure supplier performance and KPI's. Collaborate to deliver change control as required to meet global standards including process, policy, and procedures.
  • Local contract management identification, management and minimizing of contractual risk. Ensure adherence to SSMP including contract variation process (CCN) and risk and control assurance. Support in local Commercial Management, benefits tracking and realization savings tracking and consolidated reporting.
  • Collaborate to provide operational understanding of budget performance, as well as appropriate context, using analytical insights to identify ongoing opportunities and shape strategic decision making. Contribute to regional supplier management activities. Accountable for proactively managing the relationship with the supplier local leads.
  • Supplier performance management, (SRM) ensuring completion of activities supporting the delivery. Monitoring KPI's, commercials and financial outputs.  Manage delivery performance of supplier, supplier process effectiveness and completeness. Track, measure, and analyse progress against strategy, including ongoing review of appropriateness and business alignment.
  • Provide link to supplier on stakeholder feedback, delivery model and delivery performance against objectives Accountable for overall service delivery, performance of outsourced organization for the region under remit. The role holder will act as the CRES Facilities Management point of contact for local business contacts.

This role is based in our Noida office.

Purpose of the role

To maintain service standards for workplace services, food and beverage services, event planning and other amenities, and collaborate with vendors to deliver on time and within budget. 

Accountabilities

  • Management of workplace budget activities to track expenses, forecast costs and identify potential cost saving opportunities.
  • Implementation of the Global Facilities Management Contract Governance schedule in Country, Region Site in line with audit requirements.
  • Management the Banks Global Facilities management Partner delivering of various building service facilities including catering, cleaning, document services, landscaping, waste management, transportation, through vendor coordination.
  • Collaboration with CRES Commercial to manage the facility budget activities through expense tracking, cost forecasting and the identification of cost saving opportunities.
  • Development and maintenance of business intelligence data of Global Facilities Management Industry standards including Service benchmarking, performance metrics, employee satisfaction and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Identification of Facilities Management Industry innovative initiatives to drive continuous improvement, Hybrid working, productivity and Colleague Satisfaction and support the implementation process.
  • Collaboration with CRES H&S, Building Operations, Capital Projects and CRES Risk & Governance Management to Log, Manage and track any workplace related risks.

  • Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management on functional and cross functional areas of impact and alignment.
  • Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.
  • Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work your team does.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the organisation functions to contribute to achieving the goals of the business.
  • Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategies.
  • Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought comparing and selecting complex alternatives. In-depth analysis with interpretative thinking will be required to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
