Risk and Control Objective

Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work you do

Working Flexibly

Structured hybrid role:
At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home.  We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Please discuss the working pattern requirements for the role you are applying for with the hiring manager. Please note that as we continue to embed our hybrid working environment, we remain in a test and learn phase, which means that working arrangements may be subject to change on reasonable notice to ensure we meet the needs of our business.

Introduction:
The purpose of the role is to work through daily assigned cases by processing the end to end of customer and client exits requested by the different business units we work closely with, monitoring correspondence coming in from different business units, as well as coordinating exits across multiple business units. Additional tasks include identifying risks and updating watchlist entries. When required the role holder will participate in ad-hoc projects working to timeframes set by the FCEMT operations leader in assisting the leadership team.

What will you be doing?
1)    Provide End to End dedicated and robust specialist Fin Crime Exit expertise throughout the Exit Process. Taking ownership of individual cases, using their own comprehensive knowledge, communication and problem-solving skills to analyse information, that has been provided by business units to manage the case until account closure.
2)    Take responsibility and accountability for maintaining a high standard of accuracy during all stages of the Exit process, working towards ‘right first time’ objectives, maintaining the outlined timeframes to ensure resolutions are met, that may threaten SLA tolerance, set out by our compliance team.
3)    Managing volumes of workloads to ensure that deadlines to resolve complex and high priority cases are met, eliminating any risk impact to the team and organisation.
4)    Utilising strong communication and diplomacy skills when interacting professionally with internal stakeholders, across multiple business areas. Taking accountability to sustain a comprehensive knowledge of the sub-functions objectives.
5)    Support and coordinate with Business Units by providing diverse analytical skills throughout all stages of the exit team processes.
6)    Review and report operational processes with solutions by influencing and taking ownership with enhancing the team’s current processes by eliminating the risk to the team/organisation.

What we’re looking for:
•    Able to work independently or own initiative
•    Experience of working in a Financial Crime Operations or regulatory/ compliance environment.
•    Strong attention to detail and accurate reporting/compliance, when working in Excel and additional document management software.
•    Ability to successfully manage several high priority tasks simultaneously, by showcasing strong organisational skills, through day-to-day planning.
•    Any graduate.

Skills that will help you in the role:
•    Strong Time Management & Prioritisation skills.
•    Strong Communication skills
