As a Barclays Wealth Manager, you will have an exciting chance to act as a trusted advisor to clients to achieve their financial goals, provide wealth planning advice, investment solutions, credit solutions and day to day banking services. In your role, you will understand the needs and goals of clients and provide them with bespoke advice that helps them work towards their long term financial & lifestyle goals.

What will you be doing?
•    Achieving personal objectives and assisting in achieving team targets for new clients, Investable assets, Credit and Wealth Planning Revenue
•    Acting as key contact for banking products, credit advice and client queries
•    Delivering high quality bespoke advice, maximising value for our clients and negotiating the best commercial outcome 
•    Acting as the key interface for the client and the Barclays group, for Wealth Planning, Discretionary Portfolio Management, Investment Advisory, Investment Solutions  
•    Providing the client with world class financial solutions
•    Being able and willing to discuss markets, their issues and opportunities with clients 
•    Fully utilising the Wealth Manager toolset, systems and platforms, and improving current standards for better quality
•    Engaging with digital technologies, products, and solutions relevant to the Wealth Management business having the ability to use them to enhance the service provided

What we’re looking for:

•    All candidates must be RDR level 4 qualified, having passed exams enabling them to provide financial advice in the UK against FCA activities 2, 3 or 4
•    Excellent relationship skills with experience of managing and handling the sophisticated needs of individuals and families
•    Broad experience of the Financial Services industry, in the areas of Retail regulated products/services to mass market and high net worth customers, and asset management

•    Financial planning qualification 
•    Good communication and presentation skills

Where will you be working?
The Bournemouth Wealth Office is located between Bournemouth and Poole with Sandbanks beach no more than 500 metres from the front door. We have a significant number of restaurants and sports clubs locally which make this a great office to work in. We work very closely with our BUK colleagues and share the growing Barclays Eagle Lab on site. This creates significant interest across the region and provides an opportunity for the teams to get together regularly.
