Service Delivery & Change Analyst
Bournemouth

As a Barclays Service Delivery & Change Analyst, you will be accountable for ensuring the safe and successful delivery of major changes into the Group Financial Crime Operations; including requirements, scoping, training, migration/implementation all to be formally tracked and reported under the Business Readiness Permit to Operate framework. The Service Delivery teams support and drive the People, Change and Innovation agendas across Group Financial Crime Operations.

Barclays is one of the world's largest and most respected financial institutions, established in 1690, with a legacy of success, quality, and innovation. We offer careers that provide endless opportunity – helping millions of individuals and businesses thrive and creating financial and digital solutions that the world now takes for granted.

At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Please discuss the working pattern requirements for the role you are applying for with the hiring manager. Please note that as we continue to embed our hybrid working environment, we remain in a test and learn phase, which means that working arrangements may be subject to change on reasonable notice to ensure we meet the needs of our business.

What will you be doing?

•    Working closely with multiple functions including GFCO, Financial Crime Compliance, Technology and Business Change
•    Supporting the delivery of change activity against time and budget schedules, ensuring compliance with Customer Lifecycle Standard and associated Financial Crime Policies
•    Working effectively with stakeholders and senior management across GFCO and external operations
•    Providing regular updates to line manager and team leaders on status of projects and potential operational impact from change
•    Creating and maintaining project plans for operational projects undertaken by GFCO
•    Working closely with Change teams across GFCO to ensure successful delivery and integration of projects without adverse impact to the operation or customers
•    Developing an understanding of GFCO systems and operational processes across the area

What we’re looking for:

•    Robust interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with project stakeholders and senior leadership
•    Analytical skills to analyse and interpret data sets, identify impacts and present recommendations and results to different audiences
•    Excellent organisational skills to manage projects within appropriate timescales
•    Proven record within an operational change management type function

Skills that will help you in the role:

•    Knowledge of change lifecycles
•    Good presentation skills with the ability to outline the most complex tasks in a simple manner for stakeholder to be able to interpret and make informed decisions

Where will you be working?

The Bournemouth Wealth Office is located between Bournemouth and Poole with Sandbanks beach no more than 500 metres from the front door. We have a significant number of restaurants and sports clubs locally which make this a great office to work in. We work very closely with our BUK colleagues and share the growing Barclays Eagle Lab on site. This creates significant interest across the region and provides an opportunity for the teams to get together regularly.
