Senior Business Analyst / Product Manager
Northampton, Glasgow

As a Barclays Senior Business Analyst / Product Manager, you will be part of a dynamic team delivering critical changes for a large strategic change programme with an aim to transform the E2E client onboarding journey, globally across the Corporate Bank and Investment Bank. You will report to the Head of Product Design to lead the development, and delivery of key products in a newly established Agile transformation environment. You will be integral to shaping work practices from the outset.

What will you be doing?
•    Creating product vision and roadmap in partnership with strategy and Business Accountable Executives, building, managing and prioritising, the Product backlog 
•    Developing and maintaining a framework for backlog prioritisation in line with business priorities and defining/Owning Business requirements/epics
•    Overseeing the implementation and delivery of all change related to the Product with a focus on Product quality and control
•    Being accountablee for the delivery of key business benefits against the agreed strategic business outcomes 
•    Assessing the market and highlighting opportunities for competitive advantage and business, process and technology differentiation
•    Feeding back with Market insights to develop Product Strategy/roadmap
•    Owning resolution of Production Issues in partnership with Product development, partnering with senior leads across Business, Architecture, Engineering, Programme 
•    Implementating of key Agile/SCRUM frameworks and methodologies, communication and presentation of solutions and issues to Senior stakeholders


What we’re looking for:
•    Experience of Product Ownership in an Agile transformation environment, work with Business users to understand their needs and translate into product requirements
•    Good stakeholder management skills with ability of leading and motivating whilst working cross functionally, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, verbal and written
•    Experience of partnering closely with both operations and technology to deliver key functionality aligned to business outcomes, recognised Agile/SCRUM certifications
•    Experience overseeing all stages of the Product development lifecycle, being comfortable working with ambiguity and driving multiple stakeholders towards a common goal


Skills that will help you in the role:
•    Previous experience across Client/Customer Onboarding with demonstrable awareness of regulatory and compliance landscape 
•    Knowledge of the importance of prioritising and implementing Controls within E2E Processes and technology delivery
•    Previous experience in shaping working practices in an Agile transformation environment
•    Proven track record of working in the Financial Services Industry
