Americas Finance Business Manager

As a Barclays Americas Finance Business Manager, you will be helping enable communication and collaboration across the Finance team and broader Barclays organization in the Americas. You will work closely with the CFO and other global Finance leaders to set, implement, and monitor the functions’ strategy. This is an opportunity to be managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and producing best-in-class materials for these projects. 

Salary/ Rate Minimum: $150,000
Salary/ Rate Maximum: $185,000

What will you be doing?

•    Assisting the Americas CFO (and other CFO’s and Finance Directors are applicable) in the execution of their day-to-day accountabilities
•    Driving execution of top priorities agreed upon by the CFO and Finance leadership team and supporting regular and ad hoc control and compliance relate requests 
•    Leading the preparation and production of executive presentations for the CFO, including regular Board materials, Executive Committee updates, and presentations to regulators
•    Overseeing talent acquisition for the Finance organization including Early Careers
•    Operating in partnership with Human Resources to support personnel and talent-related initiatives with particular focus on the Diversity and Inclusion agenda 
•    Driving colleague engagement initiatives and supporting management communication promoting Finance initiatives 
•    Overseeing all organizational/team requirements relating to technology, real estate, people and communications in conjunction with relevant partners across the firm
•    Providing additional assistance on special and/or cross-functional projects 

What we’re looking for:

•    Bachelor’s degree required 
•    Experience leading a team and influencing global stakeholders and project management/organization skills and attention to detail
•    A team player, able to multi-task, and work through conflicting priorities 
•    Ability to establish trust with business partners and stakeholders at all levels of the organization and a self-starter who thrives in ambiguous environments

Skills that will help you in the role:

•    Analytical/problem solving skills and comfortable working with numbers 
•    Experience working with multiple senior stakeholders
•    Effortless storytelling, communication, and synthesis abilities, with ability to summarize large and complex data with insightful analysis

Where will you be working?

You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 32-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
