Liquidity Risk Vice President

As a Barclays Liquidity Risk Vice President, you will be responsible for driving forward one or multiple projects. You will provide support and advice on the liquidity risk of transactions, approve new products from a liquidity risk point of view, and approve transactions that could lead to a liquidity risk for the firm. Funding and Liquidity Risk (FLR) are an Independent Review Function (IRF) sitting in the 2nd line of defense and are responsible for the firm’s Liquidity Risk Appetite and internal stress testing methodology. 

Salary/ Rate Minimum: $150,000
Salary/ Rate Maximum: $200,000

What will you be doing?

•    Driving forward projects to improve our liquidity risk framework
•    Assisting and supporting in the development of our liquidity risk management framework, including establishing/refining limits, targets and policies
•    Providing oversight, review and challenge of the first line’s processes (MTP, IST, Management Actions, Recovery and Resolution)
•    Monitoring and providing expert coverage of designated liquidity risk driver
•    Evaluating the TCR control landscape, developing and proposing new control processes where necessary
•    Assisting and supporting in the development of our data infrastructure and analytical processes

What we’re looking for:

•    Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
•    Quantitative nature
•    Decision making and problem-solving skills 

Skills that will help you in the role:

•    Previous work experience and knowledge on various Treasury functions: balance sheet management, funding and liquidity, capital management 
•    Business acumen with working knowledge existing product and markets knowledge
•    Previous work experience on stress testing, limits setting and management 

Where will you be working?

You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 32-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
