Prime Services Transition Management Vice President
New York

As a Barclays Prime Service Transition Management Vice President, you will join a multi-faceted group, to manage the client experience at the firm from Sales mandate to being onboarded to Prime platform. As a Transition Manager, you will also be responsible for onboarding clients across multiple platform and markets that we currently offer trading and investment opportunities for, managing the relationships of internal stakeholders, on-boarding serves as the primary point of contact for clients, and handling the day to day dialogue and action. 

Salary / Rate Minimum: $155,000
Salary / Rate Maximum: $250,000

What will you be doing?

• Working with clients to translate their operational and trading needs onto the Barclays Prime Brokerage platform across products and entities
• Coordinating with Sales, Risk, Pricing and Product to deliver seamless solutions to our client base
• Cultivating client relationships and facilitating the onboarding process end to end through regular communication of KYC, Regulatory, and Operations requirements
• Being the central point of contact throughout the on-boarding process, including educating clients on platform capabilities and Barclays infrastructure
• Acting as the project manager for all internal coordination across key stakeholder groups to align prioritization and meet client go live dates
• Building effective working relationships with internal stakeholders including Sales, Trading, Compliance, Credit, Legal, Operations and Technology across the firm
• Ensuring all internal account setup is completed from reporting, trade file testing, and operational considerations for optimal setup

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years’ experience in a client facing role within the financial services industry 
• Understanding of the Hedge Fund and Asset Manager landscape, with focus on clearing, settlement and financing across products and strategies
• Demonstrate willingness to drive initiatives, improve process and enhance end to end workflow
• Pro-active and detail oriented, ability to work in an independent manner but in a team environment with great interpersonal skills

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Analytical with ability to problem solve and escalate to proper stakeholders accordingly
• Excellent verbal and written skills with ability to multi-task, prioritize and excel in organizational management; service oriented and can manage multiple competing priority client requests
• Ability to build relationships with both key internal stakeholders and external clients; have experience providing white glove service at Institutional clients 
• FINRA licenses  Series 99 and Series 7

Where will you be working?

You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 32-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
