As a Barclays Europe KYC Relationship Management Specialist, you’ll protect and bolster our front office relationships across Barclays Corporate & Investment Bank. You’ll provide a client service interface, offering translation & language support and capabilities, along with in Country regulatory specialties. This is an opportunity to join the Europe KYC Relationship Management team with a reporting line into the Head of Europe KYC Relationship Management, and be a liaison partner between the front office, operations, FinCrime and clients.

What will you be doing?

•    Providing front office support for escalations and priorities on KYC onboarding and refresh cases, working with operations and the business across countries to resolve  
•    Contacting for lingual assistance as well as client call attendance where necessary
•    Working towards becoming an in-country specialist on specific regulatory requirements, offering subject matter expertise to the wider operations and front office staff
•    Driving robust jurisdictional compliance and regulatory training across all staff and locations 
•    Assisting in specific country/regional change initiatives and process improvement across KYC Maintenance function globally by driving key project and stakeholder accountability 
•    Managing the metrics and work queues for the countries you are assisting with; looking to determine and resolve key productivity and control issues and trends
•    Working closely with operational SMEs to assist KYC Leadership in delivering an outstanding performance across the operation


What we’re looking for:

•    Fluent language and translation capabilities in French, English and ideally Portuguese
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, across all platforms, with the ability to flex styles to the needs of different colleagues, stakeholders and Clients
•    Exceptional time management skills to be able to proactively manage high workload effectively and to complete complex and high-priority tasks within target timescales
•    Commercial practice in the financial sector as well as understanding of Investment and Corporate Banking industry 

Skills that will help you in the role:
•    Experience with working in global matrix organisations
•    Analytical and complex problem solving skills, being able to balance the need to meet regulatory and risk management requirements along with excellent client and colleague engagement 
•    Prior experience with using the Corporate/Investment Bank’s computer systems (such as Customer Gateway, Jet Bridge, Swift, and Edocs)
•    Process optimisation experience across complex, regulatory in nature processes/projects including planning, delivering and successful execution
