Hybrid Working 

Structured hybrid role:    
At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home.  We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Please note that as we continue to embed our hybrid working environment, we remain in a test and learn phase, which means that working arrangements may be subject to change on reasonable notice to ensure we meet the needs of our business.

Introduction:

This role sits within the Pru Reg CoE team responsible for RWA, leverage, Large Exposure reporting and various projects/ Transformation roles within Pru reg.
The purpose of the role is to support the external and internal disclosures primarily related RWA and Capital measures. This is a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to be at the forefront of supporting the  bank in meeting its regulatory reporting commitments, assist the bank in providing valuable MI and analytics 
that enable business decisions to be made and explore opportunities that will allow the team to improve its service offering across the bank.

What will you be doing?

•    Production of daily, monthly and quarterly reporting and supporting underlying detail to facilitate the business in managing exposures and operating within the predetermined limits
•    Production of mandatory external regulatory reporting for RWA, Leverage and Large Exposure metrics and assist in the consolidation of COREP, Pillar 3 and the results announcement including the review and challenge of disclosures provided by risk asset class teams across the globe. 
•    Ensuring the transformation build to be aligned with regulatory requirements. 
•    Assessing the impact of all regulatory changes for RWA, Leverage and Large Exposures and bring robust controls/ efficiency through automation and timely provide the solutions to the line teams
•    Understand end to end process and build the requirements liaising with respective line teams and working closely with Business analyst/ developers team and achieve the requirements by setting internal milestone and highlight the progress of the project to the management.
•    Preparation of Internal MI, support the SMT packs and RROC processes, working with stakeholder to resolve issues that could impact reporting
•    Ensuring the appropriate control framework is in place to deliver accurate and timely external and internal reporting information including but not limited to adherence of the Financial Regulatory Reporting Policy.
•    Support any new mandatory regulatory requirements and preparation of any other required regulatory information for the Bank
•    Assisting other team members as necessary in all the team tasks
•    Escalate all the reporting issues to line manager/senior management in a timely manner
•    To consistently meet reporting deadlines and to deliver against overall targets
•    Responding to ad-hoc queries from internal stakeholder, ensuring a swift response and compliance with the internal policy around distribution of sensitive data
•    Liaising with other areas of the business globally including off shore production teams, treasury, PC, IT, statutory reporting, operations and regulatory teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of reporting
•    Develop and maintain strong working relationships across the teams and other departments where appropriate. 
Support project management teams to deliver change  


What we’re looking for:

•    Qualified accountant [ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CA] / University degree or equivalent
•    Strong interpersonal and team-working skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
•    Strong control awareness and able to respond to changess with the evolution of existing controls
•    Keen analytical skills with the ability to challenge current processes and alternative proposals which are more 
        Optima and efficient
•     Ability to engage closely with stakeholders to ensure delivery of expected results.
• Ability to present information in a clear and concise manner
•    Ability to work under pressure to challenging timelines
•    Flexibility to adapt to evolving requirements in a dynamic environment, providing value to other team members and the wider stakeholder community.

Skills that will help you in the role:

•    Experience of group regulatory or statutory reporting in a financial organisation
•    Awareness of types and use of financial instruments and having knowledge about risk will be in advantage.
•    Awareness of the CRDIV reporting framework
