KYC QC Manager 
Glasgow Knutsford  Northampton 

As a Barclays KYC QC Manager, you will be responsible for performing quality reviews of KYC data and documentation from Investment Banking clients to independently assess whether Client Due Diligence Policy and regulatory requirements have been adhered to, in accordance with Barclays guidelines and UK & Global financial services regulations.

What will you be doing?

•    Analysing Client data and documentation stored in the KYC Files in order to know whether Procedures, Policy and regulatory requirements are met
•    Assisting assignment team leader/Manager in the preparation of Executive summaries, reports and Management Information
•    Being responsible for documenting all testing to a standard that allows reperformance of the work by an independent third party
•    Supporting the embedding of all relevant policies and regulatory requirements and facilitating sharing knowledge and best practices
•    Using effective problem solving and team working skills to resolve complex cases, ensuring the Bank’s Policy and regulatory requirements are always met
•    Supporting testing and implementing of new controls and checks for KYC Operation teams

What we’re looking for:

•    Previous experience of Quality Checking KYC files for investment or corporate banking
•    Previous experience in managing a varied portfolio of clients conducting KYC, client due diligence reviewing documentation and risk 
•    Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail/investigation and critical sense
•    Positive can do attitude, flexibility and focus on quality whilst adhering to SLA timescales

Skills that will help you in the role

•    Basic legal knowledge in terms of corporate law and structure 
•    Experience of reviewing complex structures, PEPs and/or Sanctions screening

Where will you be working?

You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64 acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play. We have an onsite gym, as well as outdoor tennis, football and cricket areas, as well as onsite restaurant and coffee shops.


Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997. 
We purchased the building from the landlord in early 2018 as a sign of our commitment to investment in Northampton. Plans to further develop this Campus-style location are under way to allow for a real collaborative work environment. Based just off the A45 it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
