US Laws Rules and Regulations Oversight Assistant Vice President

As a Barclays US Laws Rules and Regulations (LRRs) Oversight Assistant Vice President, you will be assisting the Business Oversight Compliance team with the development and maintenance of the inventory and risk assessment of LRRs applicable to Barclays Bank PLC in the US as well as supporting key LRR deliverables for the firm-wide projects. You will need to interact effectively and with credibility with a broad range of stakeholders across all lines of defense.

Salary/ Rate Minimum: $115,000
Salary/ Rate Maximum: $145,000

What will you be doing?

• Providing any support needed to senior stakeholders with respect to the LRR program including needed revisions to policies and procedures
• Participating in the embedment of LRR Risk Management Policy and Standard in Barclays’ business and compliance lines
• Producing key artifacts and reports to showcase and record LRR deliverables
• Developing or enhancing controls, monitoring activities, or other mitigants for risks identified within the LRR process
• Conducting various monitoring activities
• Comprehending US federal and NYS bank regulatory environment and the key LRR that apply to Barclays banking operations in the region
• Analyzing, implementing, and risk management complex LRR that apply to Barclays business operations in the region

What we’re looking for:

• Communication skills and analytical and writing skills including the ability to reduce complex rules and policies into an easily understandable format
• Organizational skills and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and MS Teams
• Experience with working independently

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Excel skill and familiarity with macros to help with the development of presentation materials
• Solid grasp of Compliance risk management frameworks

Where will you be working?

You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 32-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
