At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home.  We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Introduction:
In 2019 the Bank went live with a new Cost Transparency & Billing solution. Key to this solution was the Technology component, designed to: 
-Provide better transparency of the £3bn Technology cost base
-Provide a more accurate billing solution based on consumption
-Drive accountabilities across the firm
-Enable cost optimisation through enhanced MI and insights
Technology Cost Optimisation is a key priority for the Group, underpinned by the ongoing evolution of the Apptio Technology Business Management tool.
This role will support the Product Owner in maximising value, maturing insights and tool capabilities to keep pace with the evolving Technology and Cost landscape and priorities.
It is a role that will support the way that the Bank measures IT performance and plans future investment, proactively delivering data driven insights to identify opportunities for optimisation and efficiencies.  
This role will support the delivery of technology finance solutions, so experience of Technology and/or Finance related Transformation is critical.  The process elements in this role are also fundamental to success, so experience in enterprise business change and process improvement will help drive the right outcomes by aligning cost transparency insights with the teams able to use this to strengthen the Bank.  
What will you be doing?
Work with the Product owner to evolve and execute the Product roadmap, including requirements documentation, design and UAT and transition to BAU
Work with key stakeholders to promote the objectives of the project
Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of required outputs drive project delivery 
Escalate any risks to delivery as and when they arise
What we’re looking for:
Hands-on experience in using tools such as Python, Alteryx, Tableau, Qlikview
Strong written and verbal communication skills 
Sound understanding of financial statement analysis
Experience in building and maintenance of financial models on MS Excel, and the ability to crunch numbers from large datasets and produce actionable insights/analytics
Robust analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work with multiple teams to drive business outcomes
Minimum education qualification-Graduate
Skills that will help you in the role:
Understanding of Barclays Management and Functional Hierarchy 
Ability to navigate Finance tools (eg: SAP, CAP, BCE) will be beneficial
Understanding of Barclays Entity structure will be added benefit
Highly energetic and productive, positive and influential
Exceptional eye for detail and ability to distil complex problems into their component parts
Great interpersonal and communication skills
A team player but self-reliant and able to work on own initiative
