What will you be doing

We are seeking a dynamic Product Manager Pricing & Planning for Loans and Deposits to lead commercial optimization initiatives for Barclays products and customer segments. You will be responsible for exploring opportunities to enhance performance through pricing, product design, and line management. The role involves managing cross-functional team collaborations and stakeholders up to the EXFo level, developing customer activation strategies, and driving technical optimization projects. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of financial products and market dynamics are essential.

  • You are the driving force to optimize the commercial performance of various customer segments through pricing, product design, and line management
  • You identify and propose initiatives to improve commercial performance and lead their implementation
  • You organize and lead cross-functional working groups for commercial optimization
  • You drive cross-product pricing and limit strategies within the Buy-now-Pay-later segment
  • You develop and implement pricing strategies for existing customers, conducting pricing tests
  • You collaborate with local SA and Product Management teams to optimize commercial performance
  • You initiate and execute technical commercial optimization projects, acting as Product Owner
  • You ensure proper monitoring and reporting of ongoing initiatives

What we are looking for

  • You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in product management, finance, or commercial functions in the financial services or insurance sector
  • You hold a university degree in business administration, economics, or a related field
  • You have proven knowledge of financial products such as personal loans and credit cards, with an excellent understanding of the German cards, personal lending, and deposits markets and their competition
  • You have a strong understanding of objectives and goals of various functions (e.g., Finance, Credit Risk)
  • You have the ability to think abstractly with good commercial judgment.
  • You are fluent in English
  • You exhibit strong communication and stakeholder management skills up to EXFo level
