We've helped millions of individuals and businesses thrive, creating financial and digital solutions that the world now takes for granted. An important and growing presence in the USA, we offer careers providing endless opportunity.

At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Please discuss the working pattern requirements for the role you are applying for with the hiring manager. Please note that as we continue to embed our hybrid working environment, we remain in a test and learn phase, which means that working arrangements may be subject to change on reasonable notice to ensure we meet the needs of our business.

What will you be doing?

•    Evaluating and optimizing the existing feature backlog to resolve conflicts and ensure alignment with strategic priorities
•    Being responsible for identifying opportunities for synergy among different projects to build economies of scale and enhance the overall capabilities of the organization
•    Managing cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive strategy implementation and operational efficiency
•    Providing senior-level guidance in the prioritization and assessment of business requirements to align with long-term strategic goals
•    Overseeing the integration of new technologies and methodologies into business requirements to stay ahead of emerging fraud trends
•    Adapting to rapid changes in the fraud prevention domain and a visionary outlook to anticipate future trends and prepare the organization accordingly
•    Conveying the vision and business requirements to stakeholders while managing expectations across various business units

What we’re looking for:

•    A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline like Statistics, Mathematics, Operations, Finance, Technology, Research etc. or work experience equivalent
•    Proven background in driving change: driving process improvements, business transformation, or root cause analysis
•    Experience developing financial business cases, project plans, and customer journeys
•    Familiarity with the technical aspects related to fraud prevention systems and platforms, including understanding system capabilities and limitations

Skills that will help you in the role:

•    Ability to think strategically and integrate comprehensive business strategies with day-to-day activities such as foreseeing potential challenges and opportunities in the fraud landscape
•    Knowledge of fraud prevention methodologies, technologies, and trends is vital to effectively manage the integration of these elements into business requirements
•    High-level project management skills to oversee large-scale projects, manage multiple timelines, and ensure the delivery of projects that meet strategic business objectives
•    Experience evaluating complex data sets, identify trends, and assessing existing features for potential conflicts or enhancements

Where will you be working?
