We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Sr. Analyst Balance Transfer Analytics.

As an Existing Customer Analyst, you will:

  • Perform data analysis to continuously improve the targeting strategy to support the program’s overall business objectives
  • Support design, build and execution of various tests according to the test agenda for BT program
  • Provide timely updates of BT program performance monitoring to business leaders and key stakeholders

Requirements include:

  • Solid understanding of financial profit and loss (P&L) constructs, individual P&L components, and their interactions under the Risk & Reward framework
  • Experience, knowledge and understanding of data analysis/data modelling with credit cards and bureau data – using SQL/ SAS/ Python/ other
  • Strong analytical, technical/statistical skills with proven ability to process vast amounts of data into meaningful information and insights in financial services, insurance, marketing, or other data driven industry

This role is located in Wilmington, Delaware.

Purpose of the role

To use innovative data analytics and machine learning techniques to extract valuable insights from the bank's data reserves, leveraging these insights to inform strategic decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and drive innovation across the organisation. 

Accountabilities

  • Identification, collection, extraction of data from various sources, including internal and external sources.
  • Performing data cleaning, wrangling, and transformation to ensure its quality and suitability for analysis.
  • Development and maintenance of efficient data pipelines for automated data acquisition and processing.
  • Design and conduct of statistical and machine learning models to analyse patterns, trends, and relationships in the data.
  • Development and implementation of predictive models to forecast future outcomes and identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to seek out opportunities to add value from data through Data Science.

  • Make evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information, paying attention to detail.
  • Resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents.
  • Guide and persuade team members and communicate complex / sensitive information.
  • Act as contact point for stakeholders outside of the immediate function, while building a network of contacts outside team and external to the organisation.
