As a Barclays Tech Sourcing Manager, you will be accountable for ensuring that all relevant sourcing documentation is inputted to the deal management and contract systems to be compliant with business and internal procurement policy requirements. You will also be required to build and maintain a good operational and strategic network with the category management teams to report, measure and improve on deal execution capability.

What will you be doing?
• Operating within a team of sourcing managers, in charge of shaping and executing deals across the Category
• Focusing on sourcing of IT services across the bank, supporting the Category Manager and independently leading projects
• Independently leading projects with the businesses and functions across the bank
• Helping the Sourcing team with the day-to-day management of key stakeholders and executing deals according to policy and agreed timelines
• Working closely and strategically with the internal teams sitting within Procurement, Legal and SME functions
• Providing category knowledge and sourcing assistance to manage commercial negotiations with third parties
What we’re looking for:
• Understanding of CIPS or CPM/CPSM/ISM
• Understand various commercial value drivers with a good knowledge of best Procurement industry practices
• Negotiating supplier contract terms and conditions
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, able to present to senior management
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Additional sourcing experience within another category, E.g. Professional Services, HR
• Excellent networking and senior stakeholder management skills
