What will you be doing 


•    The role holder will engage with UHNW and Family Office clients who are typically multi-banked with multi-jurisdictional and often complex banking and investment requirements and successfully attract them to execute or place their business with Barclays Private Bank and the wider Barclays Group.
•    The role holder will identify, develop and secure new relationships through personal and client referrals, Barclays group internal networks and corporate and investment banking sources
•    The role holder is expected to onboard new clients of the appropriate calibre and size to deliver business growth for the Private Bank and provide clients with the solutions and services that meet their needs
•    The role holder in their day-to-day activity,  using their breadth of experience will facilitate delivery of the right client solutions for sophisticated multi-jurisdiction, multi banked clients with complex banking and investment requirements
•    The role holder will translate client opportunities into executable strategies, utilizing/exploiting limited resources efficiently and effectively. This client facing role will be expected to contribute to the PB P & L
•    The role holder will be expected to act as an external and internal ambassador for Barclays. As such they will be naturally recognised as representing Barclays’ values and culture by way of their client centric approach, their ease in meeting clients on a regular basis, their capacity to identify and connect with relevant prospects.
•    The role holder will be expected to contribute to the development of the Asia strategy for the Private Bank Singapore team and may be assigned responsibility for client level planning, business strategy and execution for a geographic or commercial segments within the overall Asia strategy. 
•    The role holder will be responsible for ensuring that all activity they undertake remains within Barclays risk appetite and commercial agenda  
•    The role holder will be expected to be a contributor to the Barclays Citizenship and Diversity & Inclusion agendas


What we’re looking for 


•    The role holder will have very strong relationship skills with experience of managing and handling the sophisticated needs of individuals and families
•    The role holder will have experience of building a substantial client base using internal and external networks, be effective in gaining an in-depth understanding of client’s needs and advising on a diverse range of wealth management solutions with high penetration ratios per client.
•    The role holder will have experience of operating in a complex investment environment and will satisfy the criteria for an approved person (where applicable) both initially and on an ongoing basis.  
•    The role holder will have broad experience of the Financial Services industry and will be skilled in differentiating advice according to the complexity of the client’s requirements.  
•    The role holder will have detailed regulatory knowledge, in particular of local regulatory requirements, and an overall understanding of the business impact of the regulatory environment.  
•    The role holder will have excellent market exposure and multi-disciplined private banking expertise.
•    The role holder will be required to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications and be able to demonstrate that they will meet the minimum qualifications to meet local regulatory requirements and Barclays internal company benchmarks
