Role Title:Investment Banking HR Business Partner

Location:London, UK

Overall purpose of role

The HR Business Partner will be part of the broader Banking HR team supporting all of Global Banking.S/he will take lead with the banking leaders primarily for Americas-based colleagues and partner closely with the business and HR to provide support and guidance and ensuring tools, programs and advice is provided to the business, in accordance with HR standards.

Key Accountabilities

·Be the key HR interface for investment banking group leadership across your EMEA and APAC client groups

·Be the key HR interface for the International Corporate Banking (ICB) leader

·Build credibility with your client base in order to be seen as a true partner.In order to do so, you will be well versed in the business and develop a comprehensive understanding of the evolving regulation and control landscape, HR strategies and relevant policies and procedures

·Work with business leadership to support a holistic human capital strategy that meets the evolving needs of the business. In doing so, work closely with HR BP and TC colleagues to maximize efficiencies and consistency across the HR product suite

·Work closely with HR Delivery & Advisory (D&A) and other Transaction Cycle colleagues to translate business needs into best in class HR solutions, ensuring that these are delivered effectively, with a continuous improvement mindset.In doing so, use data analytics and metrics to demonstrate return on investment (ROI) to measure success

·Ensure resourcing needs of the client group are strategic and proactive (rather than reactive) and that these priorities are met, with the help of Talent Acquisition

·Represent HR in key forums to ensure the HR implications of business activities are well planned and understood in the early stages, and appropriate action taken

·Lead the delivery of core HR processes in conjunction with relevant support from D&A and other HR TCs (eg Reward & Performance, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition) to ensure they are successfully planned, communicated, managed and delivered with seamless execution in accordance with the global strategy

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

·Previous HR Business Partner experience from within a global matrix organisation

·Strong personal credibility with the ability to build trusted relationships with senior managers in order to influence

·Outstanding verbal and communication skills, with poise and confidence to interact with all levels of management

·Able to balance and align business commercial requirements with available HR products and resources

·Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to incorporate metrics and analysis into HR delivery

·Solutions-oriented and customer-focused

·Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for clients with high exepectations
