Business Engagement on US Regulatory Requirement Manager
New York

As a Barclays Business Engagement on US Regulatory Requirements Manager, you’ll join the Americas Business Engagement Team, which supports the Barclays Americas CEO and the broader US Executive Committee. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to be involved in the design & execution of a variety of projects and initiatives that impact businesses in the US region. You’ll also develop relationships between the regional management team & regional colleagues and work directly with stakeholders to investigate, problem solve and drive outcomes. 

Salary / Rate Minimum: 170,000
Salary / Rate Maximum: 202,750

What will you be doing?

•    Supporting strategic design and execution of initiatives in support of the CCAR Business Engagement Lead and US regional management objectives 
•    Managing direct engagement with business and functional stakeholders to drive outcomes and ensure successful delivery of regional priorities
•    Participating in governance forums and group meetings, including regional team meetings
•    Developing presentation materials to communicate initiative goals, objectives and findings
•    Leading selected analytics to support development of business cases or determine findings 
•    Identifying issues and problem-solving potential solutions; presenting ideas for review 
•    Providing oversight and guidance to business inputs into selected regulatory submissions and interactions to ensure clear, concise, and consistent messaging
•    Supporting the CEO, Barclays Americas and the broader US ExCo by representing the region internally and externally

What we’re looking for:

•    Bachelor’s Degree
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to collaborate and interact with a broad range of colleagues across businesses and functions 
•    Ability to synthesize complex or technical issues for review and communication to others 
•    Exceptionally well organized, ability to prioritize and work independently on a variety of tasks 

Skills that will help you in the role:

•    Solid analytical approach to problem-solving, with attention to detail, use of appropriate judgement and intellectual curiosity 
•    Experience working with business stakeholders and with senior colleagues 
•    Knowledge of regulatory requirements with respect to US capital planning and stress testing 
•    Understanding of Investment Banking business activities and products preferred with desire to broaden and deepen understanding of US regional activities front-to-back 

Where will you be working?

You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 32-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
