Project Manager 
New York

As a Barclays Project Manager, you will hold responsibility for project management activities as part of a broader Transformation programme focused on US change. In this role, you will report to a Programme Director and will entail multiple and varied “hands on” project-based activities including project planning, project execution, process assessment and mapping, communications, analytical activities, and future state operating model/process design and execution.

Salary / Rate Minimum: 115,000
Salary / Rate Maximum: 160,000

What will you be doing?

•    Taking accountability for the delivery and implementation of a project with a specific focus on the business activities required to realise the project and business outcomes 
•    Working with business-side clients to ensure there a clear scope to deliver, value chain and a clear sets of requirements which enable the business to realise their required benefits
•    Creating and manage the project plan, ensure appropriate business readiness activities are considered and planned and delivered; training, and communication activities 
•    Working closely with Technology project teams to realise the end to end delivery of technology changes that are required to realise the business goal
•    Ensuring all governance, risk management, controls and compliance requirements are considered, planned for an adhered to safeguard the customer experience
•    Driving the delivery of pragmatic business and operational design solutions which maximise benefits while achieving the desired business outcomes 
•    Ensuring delivery is completed to time, cost and quality
•    Acting as a role model in terms of both delivery and behaviour for all staff in Barclays 

What we’re looking for:

•    Experience in change management 
•    Experienced in implementing new products,  services and regulation
•    Experience of continuous improvement and problem solving techniques
•    Highly organised and structured, but flexible in the face of ambiguity or change; proven influencing, networking and stakeholder management skills

Skills that will help you in the role:

•    An ability to rapidly get to the root cause of a problem and identify actions to resolve
•    Ability to juggle priorities, multi- task and flawlessly execute at speed
•    Ability to deliver under pressure and to short timeframes
•    Project management experience including knowledge of project management tools and techniques

Where will you be working?

You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 32-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
