What will you be doing?

Barclays Services Corp. seeks Senior Full Stack Developer, AVP in New York, NY (multiple positions available):

•    Design and develop high volume web applications using latest Java, J2EE and Java Script, AngularJS, Linux/Unix, SQL programming, technologies, Spring, Spring boot, Messaging, JDBC, hibernate frameworks, web services like SOAP, REST and cloud platforms like Chef, AWS, OpenShift 
•    Work in Scrum/Agile teams as a senior team member and actively interact with business users/clients of Investment banking to architect and develop secure resilient distributed applications on cloud and non-cloud environments to meet high intense business requirements
•    Automate integration testing and application deployments infrastructure to improve the applications scalability
•    Create design documents, peer view, code reviews, and mentor the team members
•    Research and Reengineer the investment banking applications with new technologies for enhanced the performance, securities, and risk control
•    Providing technical implementations and business flows guidance to other team members, present and demo to business users, stake holders and other technology groups within the firm
•    An understanding of existing investment banking architecture and implementing new latest programming designs to resolve production and non-production issues
•    Collaborate with other teams and individuals across the firm on designing/architecture/implementing new innovative technologies to accomplish business goals
•    Architect and designing, developing the Investment banking applications to migrate from on premises servers to cloud platforms
•    Actively working with Investment banking clients, business users, service providers for new business requirements and for decommissioning existing legacy services by replacing with new robust applications with latest programming skills and cloud technologies
•    May Telecommute

What we’re looking for:

Employers will accept: 
•    Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
•    Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation

You will be working at our New York, New York location at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 37-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the façade of the building. Salary / Rate Minimum/yr: $160K per year
Salary / Rate Maximum/yr: $175K per year

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

This position is eligible for incentives pursuant to Barclays Employee Referral Program.
