As a Barclays Securitized Products Origination, Assistant Vice President (AVP) on the Securitized Products Origination team, you’ll collaborate with both senior & junior bankers on transaction execution and new business origination activities. You’ll work on all relevant facets of a capital markets transaction, from financial analysis/modeling, industry and market-based research, preparation of offering memoranda, coordination of processes and warehouse facilities & assistance in the proposals, and other written materials/client presentations.

Salary / Rate Minimum: 125,000
Salary / Rate Maximum: 170,000

What will you be doing?

• Collaborating and coordinating with investors, rating agencies, internal and external counsel and accountants to execute term ABS and warehouse lending positions for the firm
• Being responsible for managing analyst workflow for live deals and prospective client opportunities
• Creating comprehensive marketing and pitch materials, rating agency presentations and sales memos
• Participating in roadshow activities for primary new issue transactions
• Taking responsibility for analyzing various types of collateral using CAS or Excel
• Drafting term sheets for new business opportunities
• Reviewing and commenting on legal documentation for term ABS and warehouse lending

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor's degree or MBA plus two to three years’ experience executing term ABS or asset based lending transactions in an Analyst / Associate capacity
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Understanding of structured finance
• Experience in analyzing data and market conditions to produce clear/concise presentations for senior management and clients

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Experience with CAS and Intex preferred, but not required
• Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks on strict deadlines
• Over two years of experience of working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience working in fast-paced work environment interfacing with internal/external stakeholders

You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 32-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
