Data Migration Business Analyst
London

As a Barclays Data Migration Business Analyst, you will be working with many different sectors such as the technology teams, operations users and the controls team to plan, manage & execute the system/process changes including business analysis, requirements documentation, process/procedure updates and test scripts creation. Your role will require you to build report with business stakeholders and Migration Technology Team while you collaborate on current vs future gap analysis and further point of interest.

What will you be doing? 

•    Managing the recognition of pre and post migration data and identify the resolution for discrepancies and proactively improving the data quality for future migrations
•    Running a Migration Pod and drive execution on data migration, risk & control, training and business process alignment for both short and long term changes
•    Collaborating with stakeholders including tech/ops partners and driving the data cleanup activities as well as processing optimisation/automation opportunities 
•    Supporting systems implementation and execution into BAU and being on site in the business area to provide support while liaising with Technology & Business area’s involved 
•    Ensuring improvement is central to the delivery of Operational Readiness taking feedback from workstream leads and stakeholders and applying this to delivery plans
•    Communicating professionally, clearly and confidently to a global audience and support the creation of presentation materials in Transformation team and Project meetings

What we’re looking for: 

•    Hands on experience of the ACBS application within Corporate and IB Lending Operations team 
•    Proven knowledge of Corporate and IB Lending processes and procedures
•    Proven ability to quickly learn, understand and adapt to new systems and processes
•    Experience at dealing with stakeholders at all levels

Skills that will help you in the role: 

•    An understanding of the key phases of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
•    Knowledge of JIRA, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel

Where will you be working?

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links. With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
