Hybrid Working

At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home.  We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Introduction:

As a member of the Group HR Business and Service Management Team: 
•    Work with Service Providers across HR to ensure that HR processes are appropriately mapped in line with Group standards, and Process Owners are empowered and encouraged to use the process maps to inform decision making.
•    Work with the Group HR Business and Service Management Team to ensure that all team deliverables are completed on time and delivered to a high standard

What will you be doing?

The role holder will be accountable for the following:
•    Overseeing the BAU governance and engagement framework for process mapping across the HR Function
•    Engaging with stakeholders across the HR Function to provide subject matter expertise, support, guidance and governance for the design and utilisation of mapping of HR processes
•    Communicating and ensuring adherence to process mapping standards in Blueworks Live (the strategic process mapping tool for Barclays)
•    Engaging key stakeholders across the Barclays process and continuous improvement community to ensure consistency in approach with the wider Barclays Group
•    Identifying process simplification and standardisation opportunities  
•    Providing accurate management and performance reporting / analysis to key internal stakeholders. Coordinating cost and control input into regular governance and reporting; driving improvements in reporting and ensuring consistency in reporting across performance, cost and control.
•    Understanding existing and new governance and regulatory requirements and work with the team to translate and communicate these to key HR stakeholders, ensuring compliance across HR.
•    Ensuring the HR Service Catalogue, service documentation and agreements are up to date and accurate, managing any changes through the appropriate channels in a timely manner. 
•    Driving and supporting improvements to business, service and process management across HR. 
•    Supporting the wider Group HR Business and Service Management Team on the development and implementation of HR projects

What we’re looking for:

•    Process-driven, with excellent attention to detail
•    Able to deliver quality results with challenging but collaborative influencing style 
•    Strong data / numeric / analytic skills and ability to draw key points from complex data 
•    Well organised and ability to prioritise and re-prioritise work according to changing requirements to meet tight deadlines
•    Proven ability to develop strong relationships
•    Strong continuous improvement mindset 

Skills that will help you in the role:

•    Strong knowledge in process capture / business process modelling standards
•    Demonstrable experience of using process modelling tools (Blueworks Live preferable)
•    Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
•    Strong presentation (written and verbal) skills, with the ability to bring a dry subject matter to life in terms that the business relates to.
•    Effective interpersonal and influencing skills with an ability to operate with a broad range of HR and business stakeholders
•    The ability to gather information in a structured manner ensuring stakeholder engagement with regard to the purpose of the information required. 
•    The ability to act decisively, use sound judgment and move projects and the business with pace/ ability to manage workload to ensure deliverables are to time and quality
•    Experience in developing new reporting processes and analytics, including development of SLAs and KPIs 
•    Graduate
•    Sound knowledge of HR core processes (i.e. Resourcing, Position Management, Payroll, Exit)
•    Understanding of Lean and associated execution principles 
•    Colleague-centric design experience
•    Experience / knowledge of project management principles
•    Financial services experience
