As a Barclays Enhanced Due Diligence Operations Lead, your role will include leading service delivery for the Operations Lead and Exits, helping single business and cross-Business Operations Lead processes across the Barclays Group. You will also have the opportunity to be overseeing the Politically Exposed Person and High-Risk Financial Crime Reviews carried out by the Enhanced Due Diligence Teams on behalf of other BUs, and providing assistance to the coordination of multi-BU reviews across the Barclays Group.

What will you be doing?
• Managing Risk effectively, deliver on our Group strategy by implement a solid control culture within the Operations teams
• Assisting Group wide initiatives by providing the framework for implementation, working with the AE and, enhance EDD and AML processes within the Operation
• Taking ownership of all EDD & Exit owned actions end-to-end to committed actions within committed timeframes
• Representing EDD & Exits as the primary escalation point for control remediation & enhancement
• Delivering on critical business priorities while evolving platform towards its strategic vision
• Creating an environment of effective delivery by empowering the Operations teams, leveraging their knowledge and expertise, learning lessons from past delivery
What we’re looking for:
• Awareness of banking front to bank infrastructure and Financial Crime processes
• Good organizational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
• Will have previously worked in an environment that has enabled them to gain a broad understanding of Financial Crime
• Will be, or have the ability to be, a subject matter expert in FC Operations and to have or built a wide knowledge of Financial Crime regulations and policies
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good knowledge of operational risk requirements and standards applicable to the relevant processes and procedures
